Well, I really liked Daydream Warrior. And Happy Party Train. That one is really fun! A little hard with my accent, but I really like it a lot.

[ He's just going to hum the later song, terribly off key. But with true and honest enjoyment. ]

Haha, those were fun things to sing! Kanan was a great center on Happy Party Train. [Her voice is wistful-- she enjoys talking about these things, but it kind of makes her sad, too.

She's going to have to go visit them in storage soon enough.] Well, it makes me... really happy to hear someone else sing them.

She wishes that You didn't understand it. She's a young woman - she shouldn't know what it is to fear for her life, or to see someone die in front of her. ]

I know what you mean. Is that why you haven't been sleeping? [ It's pretty obvious from looking at her that she hasn't closed her eyes much at all. ]

[There's a quiet, pregnant pause before You nods, a short single nod of her head that speaks volumes.] ...yeah. Every time I lie down I just start thinking about-- about, you know, stuff, so I get up and have a drink or make a snack or something and before I know it, hey, it's light out, and...! [You sounds frustrated, and confused, and wears her heart on her sleeve. She doesn't know how to deal with this.] And I don't get why it had to happen at all. --any of it! [Yeah, she's coming apart at the seams.]

Hey, no bother at all. Even when travel between cities was restricted I was hopping fences just to see what was going on. Though I think all I have scheduled in Olympia is boring science junk.

Um, when I was growing up I'd get some scrapes and cuts and I broke my arm once from a fall, but... that was. S-something really different.

[ For all Prompto has weathered recently in his life, and for all he had struggled emotionally as a child, he had never been in danger growing up, either. It wasn't until he left the crown city that he really found himself in harm's way, and it had been...terrifying, and unexpected.

You know why I left home? It was because my best friend was getting hitched, and he asked me to be a part of his guard. Heh...thought it would be just a nice, fun road trip the beach with my buddies and then a cruise across the sea. Knew we might run into a few monsters here and there, but I...never knew what we were in for. Not really.

[ He pauses a moment to look up at her again, even if she doesn't meet his eyes. ]

...Everything fell apart back home after we left. Next thing I knew, we were fugitives being hunted by the Empire, and the world was turning dark around us. Some days, I-I...I was so scared I could barely put one foot in front of the other.
